similar but different chalet and val st lambert
both of these pieces are quite similar though marked as chalet and val st lambert (Belgium)
the st. lambert bowl is 12 inches and about 15lbs ( 30cm and 7kg) and is a vibrant lime colour. The chalet bowl is avocado and is 10inches and about 8lbs. (25cm and 3.5kg)

pieces
Hi both very nice pieces. I guess they could only do so many designs and shapes with glass before trying new things . I have heard the chartreuse Vsl pieces are more sought after by collectors.

gondola "Similar yet Different trivia" answer
Hey guys,
Since there have been 2 partial right answers - I figure that adds up to 1 right one and it's time to reveal. So - blue gondola by EDAG and gold by Chalet.
I listed the blue this afternoon on e-bay and just hours later- all of a sudden another like it pops up. Tonight an orange gondola with rim detail was listed but with a different base - this one has EDAG's signature footed base although not identified as EDAG but just of the Chalet era. The seller is out of Quebec which is no surprise - here is the link to the piece

So now we have seen 2 with rim work. Must say that while I love the colour of the orange gondola, I do not think the base suits it as well as the base of the blue gondola. Perfect would have been an orange gondola with the solid base - maybe that's the next one that we will seeLOL Funny how often that goes - you see a piece that you never have seen before and all of a sudden, you see them everywhere.

Info
Yes it is funny when you buy a new car you see it everywhere, when you get a new piece of glass you see it on the net. It is the law of attraction what we think about comes to us
Thanks for the guessing game lol so chalet did piece with the little lobes, like the round protruding clear bumps on the amber piece ?

more info please
Hi again,
Is the base perfectly round or the elongated oval? What type of piece is it on? Is it signed and if so - what marking? Can you post a pic? Thanks!

Hi it was on ebay. I was having a looks last night and it was a orange gondola type piece with a base like a edag piece. It was not round like on a basket but more pushed / flared it was just weird to see it. it was signed Chalet Canada I can find the add???
