Black Basket

This is a really dark amber black colour.It looks more Chalet than anything else,but i don't know.I think its deffenatley a second.

After comparing this more and more to signed Chalet pieces I'm convinced it's Chalet. I think it's a second, or a flawed piece.the colour is a super dark amber, it looks like coffee. It has the same ribs up each side like I've seen on Chalet pieces. The top is different too it over laps but is still separated. Any thoughts?

Hmm... That's a tough one. Never would have guessed it was Chalet. Definitely a second or a flawed piece if it is.

I think the base looks Chalet. And agree with you that not done by a Master. Looks very sleek though wonky at top.

I think it's the kind of piece you need to see, pictures don't do it justice. It's a very nice piece, such a strange colour. I love the ribbing up the sides, that blue one is super cool too.

That blue basket is gorgeous - so clean. I am stumped re the maker. I don't think the blue looks as Chalet as the darker but still have a sneaking suspicion it could be. Anyone ever seen anything Swedish like it?

When I bought mine I thought it was Murano or Scandanvian, it's not Murano and I don't think it's Swedish but it's possible. Whatever it is I love the dark coffee colour. That the official name now for that colour.Dark Coffee lol
