I was not sure who made it. It is made of lead crystal and not lead glass so I felt it was not Lorraine. I was not sure that EDAG used lead crystal.

The vast majority of EDAG pieces seem to be crystal and their marking (a sticker) says "Hand Made Crystal". I have a few EDAG pieces that are very clunky but maybe like Chalet - started out semi-crystal and upgraded. Perhaps the really bad EDAG pieces are earler ones?

I have only ever seen Lorraine "crossed fingers" that seem to be crystal - much more finely made than their usual pieces. I have a few really nice pieces of Lorraine that seem to have a much higher lead content - and as I said, that particular style of Lorraine really seems consisently to be made more finely.
