Blue large piece - 18 inch wide

Hi,

A friend of mine has this item, and is convinced it is a vintage Chalet/Lorraine piece. I claimed it is a "knock off" as I don't recognize the base as typical Chalet/Lorraine.
Who is right ?

It's not a knock off it's some other kind of glass. Maybe Murano maybe Czech. It might be very old or not old at all. Could be Alta glass too. Maybe even something from winners or home sense hard to tell from the pictures. No way it's Chalet or Lorraine not a chance.So your right.

Totally agree with Glassman - not Chalet or Lorraine. Very easily not very old as that base has a "new" look to it.

Could be Italian (not Murano) or Eastern European. Definitively not Czech.
