Canada Art dating

Hi everyone,

Just a little more info re Canada Art pieces - they were sometimes dated. I was just out west and saw a piece that was marked with the year 1962. Just more to the mystery.

My question to you is,Why the heck didn't you buy it? That would be so cool.At least take a picture lol.

The person I was with bought it and I didn't think to take a picture! I am woefully behind the times. I can tell you that it was a typical Canada Art engraved signature with 1962 added just behind it.

One thing I have learned with glass - always, always, always pick it up and turn it over. You never ever know what you are going to find. My fellow hunter had said 'That's Chalet" - I said 'No way" and we were both surprised.
