Hi everyone,

The photo shoot wrapped on Friday and I already have some of the pictures - you will see some on Anne's post re the wedding gift and on Bob's post re the sailboats. Take a look - stunning!

I get the rest of the pictures next week and then hopefully my layout guy can get the new book done. This book will be very comprehensive and picture heavy! There will also be a couple very unique features which I will tell you about when ready to launch!

Unfortuately my book layout guy is also my web guy and is in high demand so the site updates and new inventory listings have to come second - frustrating as have all these great pieces to list. AND have the house and uranium shots! Will post some here so you will see why champing at the bit!

Since there will be a bit of a delay re the site upgrades and inventory listings - if you have a special request re something you are looking for or wonder if I have - take a leaf from Ann's book and just ask! I was more than happy to help her out behind the scenes! For example - the animals are going to have their own section and I have a ton to list - one is a very rare 15" angel fish signed Chalet piece - two tone and like a sculpture, I have about 7 different styles of elephants coming, 2 different cats, signed set of miniature birds, whale, swan...........

I also have a set of matched, signed uranium ashtrays (not the one here) that are trillium shaped. Orange and also glow with manesium............ Can't wait to redo site but like I said - there will be somewhat of a delay as my guy just too popular!LOL

But no reason I can't do it like I did with Ann. Glassman and langhaugh also have purchased pieces not listed so do not be shy if there is something I can help with! As you can see - very excited re new pictures. plus will be pleased to get pictures of my personal collection more visible.

My husband said I should have got the photographer to take a group shot of all the boxes in our garage!LOL

Hi Darlene,

That was also a very nice compliment and I appreciate it! I also appreciate you not agreeing with my husband about the "mountain" (as he insists on calling my box collection) that has grown in our garage! All you collectors know - that glass has to get to us somehow!LOL

On a personal note - Darlene was the first seller I ever bought from on e-bay. She has amazing glass radar and some of my most cherished pieces displayed are ones I got with/from her!

I am looking forward to adding a design oriented slideshow to the "Showcasing your Collection " pages - I know how I like to display my pieces and it will be great to get feedback and hopefully pictures from other collectors of how they live with their collections! I have 3 cats and am lucky that none of them like to push things off shelves!

And once again - thank goodness for the Swiffer!

photo shoot wrapped Empty Living with glass

Post  Glassman Tue Apr 12, 2011 10:57 pm

I like to rotate my collection,i have some that i always display and some that have never made the cut.I only have them in two rooms.my living room and my spare bedroom.I don't like having them everywhere seems a little too much.I have waaaaay too many, many more than i could ever need.I love the hunt for them thats the funnest part for me.
I put those green felt pads on the bottom, makes the glass stay in place and saves them from chipping. The green ones from Home Depot are the best, they are not as thick as some.
