Gorgeous apple - will ask the glass artists if they ever did a 2 tone fruit - colours sure right. Pic is a bit fuzzy - could you post a better one and a closup of the leaf? Thanks!

Re the vase - my vote 'Not chalet" based on the base with the colour.

No i don't think it's chalet either any idea what it could be ?...............viking glass? I will try some better apple pictures camera is on the fritz.

Hi Glassman,

Chalet did not do 2 tone sommerso apples. Gianfranco says its Lorraine and done by Guilio Gatto - he had one there done by Maestro Gatto for his wife. The Chalet apples were all one colour sommerso and they typically used 4 colours - amber, green, orange and red. I have an amber one and a green one and have seen an orange but never the red - bet it is amazing!
