Re: Help Identify this one
I'd say very likely Murano. I can't think of anything Danish, or even Scandinavian, that looks like this. Czechoslovakia produced a lot of baskets, but not in the sommero style and not in the colours in this one, which is classic Murano. I really like it, and I don't normally like baskets, so it must be good.
Here are a typical Czech and typical Murano basket that I have.

That was my first thought too,it's like a vase basket. It's only 8 inchs tall, you can't really put anything in it.Did you check out the rest of my pictures?

I'm pretty sure that are non functional baskets. They do look attractive.
Yes, I did have a look at the rest of your collection. I like the range of Chalet you have, and some of the individual pieces are outstanding. You obviously have a great eye.
I don't have much Chalet, but you can see what I do have, and the rest of my collection at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

If that's the Jamie Harris piece you're talking about, you've picked the piece that I've paid the most for. It's huge, a double incalmo with layers of glass that show at the mouth where the glass has been cut and polished.
