did chalet make a crystal whale like this?

i think that this whale is crystal as it is very heavy. i have seen a similar shaped whale etched with chalet on the bottom. any thoughts?

I have one and it is signed Chalet. Yours is very similar except for the tail.

Yes they did - made for distribution by Riekes and part of the "Wildlife Collection" for John Riekes line. Here is a picture of a stickered whale - one of my mother's pieces. She loaned it to me for the 2012 edition of the "Chalet Marks, Labels and Product Lines" reference book. It is featured there with info re the Riekes lines etc.
