Is less more or just less?

I've decided to edit down my collection,i've got 105 pieces.I display 20 on a open wall shelf,so i've decided maybe to keep 25.I used to buy all that i saw, now i'm very very picky i only want the rare and unusual ones.I guess this happens to all collectors.I just wanted to hear some thoughts on how you all display your Chalet,do you rotate them?How many is too many?Or can you never have enough?

Check out the "Showcasing" section in the "Your Collection" pages of the site - it has a few tips (I am an interior designer in my "nonChalet" life). But I have to say - all comes down to personal taste AND size of house and tolerance of partner!LOL

When we bought this house, we were lucky enough to inherit the glass display cabinet the previous owners had built for their goblet (?) collection. That houses more than half of our collection, and there are further built ins downstairs. We also had our own shelving we brought with us when we moved, so we are set. But I often think about paring our collection down too. For now though, we'll leave it as it is.
