Very nice!
Amazing collection Bob! I agree, the finger piece is gorgeous. I have always been a fan of the design, but the colours on yours is fantastic.

incredible
Hi Bob,
Have to agree - fabulous fingertip. Stunning in the 2 tone and great size.
Also really intrigued by "Tall Yellow Vase" - if it wasn't a signed piece of Chalet , I think I would have said "Lorraine" for that one for sure. Never seen one like it.
Your blue and green 2 tone - definitely a Lorraine vase. It was a production piece and I have it in amber and olive and sold one in purple and blue. Lovely shape. I really like the vases Lorraine did.

re 6 new photos
Thanks for the comments on my new pieces. Deb, I was surprised when I found that the yellow vase had a Chalet mark as I thought it was a Lorraine piece also. Deb may I pick your brain for a sec and get your thought on a piece that is in a photo on ebay(not for sale but caught in the shot) There is an avventuria bear online for sale and in the pic there are 3 pieces in a case with an olive colored pear on top of case. I'm guessing the gentleman is a glass blower. May even have been from your Chalet glass show. Do you think the pear is also Chalet? If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Bob

Maestro Panizzon's personal piece
Hi Bob,
The avventuria e-bay listing is indeed mine and the photo that you are referring to (will post below) is from the exhibit. Maestro Panizzon loaned me those pieces from his personal collection for the exhibit. The bear is actually a coin bank. He made it while at Chalet but it was stricly for himself. He told me a charming story that Mario and Paulo (his sons) kept his retirement fund depleted as they were always into the bank for candy money. It was totally hollow and quite large and heavy. He also blew the birds and avventuria bear that are in the picture.

The Pear
Why I was asking about the pear is that I seen one that has the look of this one but smooth and not textured. It is about 7 or 8 inches tall and heavy, same kind of stem but not sure of the leaf as I can't see the full leaf. Would you have another shot that may show the front of the pear? If you do can you show it to me.
Thanks Bob

sorry
Hi again Bob,
Sorry - I do not have any other photos but this was a piece that Bruno made strictly for his personal use. The Chalet pears that were made look nothing like this so the one you are describing is likely not Chlate. Here is a photo (from the book) of Gianfranco with a signed Chalet apple and pear. Please note they are not hollow but sommerso. I have also had in olive and have seen in bright orange. I believe they also did in red and blue. They are gorgeous. I have a signed and stickered set in amber - this set is Gianfranco's but mine are identical but not quite so large as his are bigger than production as he super sized these for his father-in-law.
