Who did these "potato chip" pieces?
Hi everyone,
These pieces are two that I have always wondered about and probably wouldn't buy today. The artists say "Don't know" . They looked at one and said it could be Chalet but I don't think so as I've now seen a couple of them. The reason the artists didn't say "Not Chalet" re the base is that they told me that sometimes if the Maestro wasn't happy with how a piece was going, they would just stop, break it off the pontil and finish the base by crimping the glass. So they said could be one of those - but, as I have seen more like this so while I of course am not doubting that that happened and it explains alot of glass, I don't think that explanation id's this one. Opinions?

This second piece is almost identical to the first but a couple sizes bigger. Neither are the best pieces of glass.

that's what I was thinking
Hey Glassman,
Interesting the colours you have seen them in - EDAG would be right for those. The base sure doesn't rule them out either. They are turning into "one size fits EDAG" for sure!LOL
The big one is much nicer than the small. That smaller one actually looks better in the pic than in "person" (such good photographersLOL). Were the ones you saw the large or small size?
