This is a very strage colour piece, looks like a butterfly but don't know who made it. Does anyone know?

It's Chalet i had a amber one just like it,although the bottom looks a little lorraine.Great piece.The one i had had the made in cornwall etching too.As well as signed Chalet.

Hi Glassman and Nosey Me,

I have it in a slightly different version of that style in red (for the site) and in the exact same in green (me personal) and a picture here of Dar's piece in amber. I love this shape and in all colours - awesome! Especially love the overhead shots -so arty!Can you imagine what it would have been like in clear crystal - drool!

dar's comment re how weird the blue is triggered a memory - this is an unsigned Chantili piece (got it in Cornwall) with a completely coloured base. I only have one other signed Chalet piece with a coloured base - does anyone else have one?

I also have this in complete olive green - not coloured base! The green one is a signed Chantili.

Darlene hates this piece - I love it. How do the rest of you vote?

I like it better than the finger cigar bowls. I think the blue on yours is not as dark as this one but quite possible you never know what those glass blowers were up to. If I learned anything throughout my collecting it is NEVER SAY NEVER

Nope you are correct mine is long gone,it was exactly like the amber one you have,oh well.I like that coloured base one it's kinda different.
