Hi everyone,

It's been a while, but with the nice weather decided to go for a trip again to see if I could find some treasures today at yard sales or antique stores. I bought the following 2 pieces today:

Item 1 : Large blue-turquoise colored pieced, signed with edged Chalet label.

Item 2 : Large red colored pieced, with 2 clear strips on each large side

No signatures or labels on this one, so I'm curious who the maker would be. Any ideas?

Detail of the base
(sorry, with the light it looks like it's orange but it's really bright red)

Thanks for looking!

Kind regards,
Olaf

Two 2 new items - 1 Chalet, other I'm not sure Empty gorgeous EDAG

Hi olafp12,

Good hunting - gorgeous stretch. Love the colour. Your other piece is by EDAG - I have it in bright red. Don't have a picture of it. Am going to have my displays reshot for the site soon and will post then.

That is one of their signature bases. EDAG was another Montreal glass house - found out quite a bit more about it and will be in the new reference guide. Italians and same era. Their stuff is incredible or awful! I have quite a few of their pieces - like to think they are the incredible onesLOL
